I choose at every tier – career, relationships, food, attitude, response to challenge – to live in harmony with myself and in the world. My heart guides me. So I act. I dance. I sing. I believe I have improvised my way to this point in my life story, which explains my fascination with performing as an improviser on stage and in film.

I learn, from people, books, media and from characters I play. My favorite character roles are strong women, such as Bloody Mary in ‘South Pacific’ or women who have overcome daunting life and personal circumstances, such as Delilah, a regressed woman obsessed with being on a cooking show in ‘Measuring Up’, an independent film.
